With every Basic Chocolate Fountain Rental, The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company agrees to provide to the client, the following:
-Delivery, set up, and clean up of the 27 or 34 inch Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company fountain for your special event.
-3 hours of dipping time
-Chocolate for your guests
-Enough skewers and cocktail napkins for your guests
For the Cash & Carry Service:
-You are responsible to pick up the fountain, set up, break down, clean up, and return the fountain to The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company. Rental time is typically 24 hours. Longer rental terms such as for a weekend can be negotiated for an extra fee depending on availability.
-Everything you need in order to run the fountain successfully (utensils, step by step instructions on how to set up, run, break down, and clean the fountain, etc.)
-A consultation in person prior to the event with an experienced service attendant to ensure that your Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company rental experience is a success

1. PAYMENT TERMS: The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company requires a $100 deposit for the 27 inch fountain and a $200 deposit for the 34 inch fountain in order to reserve a specific date. A $200 deposit is required for anything more than a basic rental (dipping items, fountain attendant etc.). To confirm this agreement, return one signed and completed copy of this contract along with the deposit of $100 or $200 within 5 days of reserving the date of your event. The balance is due no later than 1 week prior to the date of the event and can be paid in cash, check, or credit card. All checks should be made payable to The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company. There will be a $35 fee charged for all returned checks.
2. LATE PAYMENTS/LATE RETURNS: In the event the Client does not pay any payment when due, as provided by this agreement, the unpaid balance shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month and will be prorated for partial months. If the client rented the fountain as a Cash & Carry rental, the fountain should be returned at the time agreed upon by the client and The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company. In the event the Client does not return the fountain at the agreed upon time, a $10 per hour charge will acrue and will be charged to the Client's credit card until the fountain is returned.
3. DISCOUNTS FOR MULTIPLE EVENTS AND SERVICES: A Discount is available for the rental of our services between Monday and Thursday. We also offer discounts for referrals from past clients, to caterers, event planners, and for multiple events booked in a calendar year.
4. CANCELLATION: If the Client initiated the cancellation less than 4 weeks prior to the event, the deposit is non-refundable. If the cancellation is more than 4 weeks, a full refund of the deposit will be returned to the Client. The Client will hold harmless The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company in the event of illness, injury, act of God, or any other situation beyond control of The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company that prevents The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company from performing the agreed upon duties. In this case, the amount paid will be returned in full to the Client.
5. PROVISIONS: If The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company is setting up and taking down the fountain, access to the desired set-up area is required at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled start time. In addition, 1 hour is required after the conclusion of the service period for take down and removal. The Client is responsible for providing a sturdy, level table capable of supporting at least 150 lbs. The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company requires at least one 120 volt circuit within 10 feet of the desired set-up area that adheres to contemporary safety standards and supplies at least 15 amps. Once the chocolate fountain is set up in the desired location, it cannot be moved during the event. The Client accepts full responsibility and is liable for any damages, injuries or delays that occur as a result of failure to comply with these provisions. Any repairs needed or replacement costs will be billed to the Client. The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company reserves the right to use any photographs taken at the event in advertising.
6. LIABILITY: This agreement and the contents hereof represent the only warranties, express or implied, between the parties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for the particular purpose and for any other obligation or liability on the part of The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company. The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage directly, or consequently arising out of the use or inability to use the chocolate fountain, whether used singularly or in conjunction with any other equipment. In the event of litigation, all parties agree to mediation first. The Client will indemnify The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company against, and hold The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company harmless from all claims, actions, proceedings, costs, damages and liabilities, including attorney fees, arising out of, connected with, or resulting from the use of The Affordable Chocolate Fountain Company Fountain.
